Fr. Herbert is celebrating his 50th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood of Jesus Christ this coming Saturday, May 17. What a marvelous milestone for such a wonderful priest who has celebrated
Mass at St. Clement on so many occasions. We thank and congratulate him, and wish him much joy and many blessings. "Well done my good and faithful servant!" Cards and well-wishes can be
sent to: 669 S. Washington St., Apt. C2, Lancaster, WI 53813.
We are very grateful to the parents for following through with the promises they made at
their child’s Baptism, to bring them up in the practice of the faith. May God continue to bless
them as they teach their child about Christ’s love and presence in the Eucharist.

Our week to host families with children who are experiencing homelessness begins next Sunday, May 18. Presently there are two families in the program. The volunteer sign-up sheets are in the back of the
church. Next weekend, after the Masses, I’ll also be in the back of the church with a list of needed breakfast and beverage items. If you are able to help in that way, fantastic! If you have questions, contact me (Bill) at 723-4990, or Peg Jonas, 723-2051.

St. Mary School is looking to hire two middle school teachers (grades 5-8) for the 2025-2026 school year. Please contact Kelly Copsey if you are interested in being a part of our St. Mary's family. [email protected] / (608)994-2435.
We are grateful for your continued support of Steubenville Youth Conference fundraiser of Car Wash Cards from Kwik Trip to offset a portion of the cost to attend ($435). Our teens and chaperones from our
pastorate, St. Joseph the Worker, will cooperate with Divine Mercy Pastorate (St. Maria Goretti & St. Christopher Parishes) along with Richland Center parishes in La Crosse Diocese again this year. Pre-orders will be April 7 - 21 of 5-count (5 washes) Ultimate Car Wash cards for $35 each. You can pre-order from Katherine at the Parish Office, Katie Crosby or Joe/Kelly Ihm family. (If you need Car Wash cards before April 26th, Saint Clement School has them in stock to support St. Clement School
Scrip Program.) Thank you for your generous support!
We are overjoyed that 43 Confirmadi from our pastorate were able to enjoy a retreat at Camp Gray on March 28-20 as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation this fall.
As we journey through Lent, it’s that time of year again where we anticipate the opportunity to remember our deceased loved ones through Easter memorial donations. The money collected will go toward Easter Flowers and decorating the churches for the Easter Season. Please turn in your donations by Saturday, April 12.
Thank you to those who helped out in any way during our recent host week for Family Promise at St. Clement. Whether you brought in food, helped with dinner serving, fellowship, overnights, etc., all of this means so much. The family could not be more thankful for the care and compassion shown to them.
Thank you to the people from other churches in our pastorate for your support too. Together, we are living out the mission of caring for the needy in our midst.
After looking over St. Mary's Rectory roof and windows, St. Mary's Parish Council has decided to
have the remaining 30 original 1949 rectory windows replaced this year. This project will cost
approximately $51,000.00 and should be completed sometime later this summer or early fall.
While there are some restricted maintenance funds that can be used toward the cost, St. Mary's
Parish Council is hoping that generous people in our parish and pastorate will be able to help with
this expense by making donations to ST. MARY'S RECTORY WINDOW PROJECT. Please contact
St. Mary's Parish office at 608-994-2526 for more information.
Due to mistakes in the previous registration form, I am sending out this NEW form. It can be mailed to:
Saint Clement
Attn. Leigh Boorn
135 S. Washington Street
Lancaster, WI 53813
Or returned to your local school or parish office with Checks made to Saint Clement, or the
checks can be turned in the week of Totus Tuus. If you would like to help as a volunteer—an
online form is available on the stjworkerparish.com website with various opportunities to
help.
