Our host week for Family Promise begins Sunday, March 23, and concludes on Sunday morning, March 30. As we begin this Lenten season, volunteering to support families with children experiencing
homelessness is an excellent way to assist the needy. While you may be doing other things to help the poor during Lent, this is one very tangible way to assist those who live in Grant County. This program of outreach is unique in that its mission is to assist kids and their families who find themselves without shelter. Volunteer sign-up sheets are in the back of the church. Except for the overnight shift, all of the other volunteer shifts are just two hours. We also welcome anyone from our pastorate to volunteer in this important service. For more information, contact Bill Manthe at 723-4990 or Peg Jonas at 723-2051.
Join Stephen Ray as he catches fish in the Sea of Galilee, camps along the Jordan, and explores the places Jesus lived and performed his miracles. Follow the incredible journey through the streets of Jerusalem to Calvary and the tomb, to the Resurrection and Pentecost.

“METANOIA” FOR LENT AT ST. CLEMENT
In St. Mark’s Gospel, the first words that Jesus speaks are, “Repent and believe on the Gospel.” The Greek word for repent is “metanoia.” Metanoia involves a changing of one’s mind and heart, a transformation and conversion of one’s entire being. For Jesus, it is a conversion to become more like Him in every way.
“METANOIA” is a 10-part series filmed in the Holy Land, with Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR. Each segment is 30 minutes in length and examines areas of our life where conversion often needs to occur. The first segment is titled, “Who Do You Say That I Am?” which examines our personal understanding of Jesus.
We will gather on Monday nights at 6:30 PM in the parish office meeting room, starting this Monday, March 17. We plan to conclude our sessions around 7:30 PM. Contact Bill Manthe for more information at 723-4990. We offered this series a few years ago, and it received two thumbs up. It is an excellent series for Lent and for life!
Join us during this year of Hope as we explore the Letter to the Hebrews. The Tuesday Morning Bible Study in Cassville has moved back to Saint Charles to accommodate some of our new members. It is always open to new members--you do not have to be an expert in the Bible, but the Letter to the Hebrews is full of great messages of HOPE! Join us in the Media room at the school after Mass on Tuesday and we wrap it up at 10:00 a.m.
A Support Group for the Bereaved
When a loved one dies, it can feel like you are alone. Few people understand the thoughts, feelings and the pain you are experiencing. This can lead to isolation, feelings of depression and extreme sadness
and sorrow. All of these are normal. Yet, there is support through GriefShare.
GriefShare is a 13 session support group for those who have experienced the loss of a
loved one. A GriefShare session includes an informative video, discussion and sharing. It
is said that “grief shared is grief diminished.” Our next GriefShare support group will begin
on February 20, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. We will meet in the St. Clement Parish office
meeting room. Pre-registration is encouraged by going to: griefshare.org.
There you can also find other GriefShare groups in the area (Platteville has one) if our
time/dates do not work for you. Contact Bill Manthe (723-4990) or Marcia Hampton (732-
8849) for more information or if you have questions.
St. Mary School students will be leading the Stations of the Cross on the following Fridays: March 21 at 1:00, March 28 at 1:50, April 4 at 12:10 & April 11 at 1:00. Grades 3 and 4 will have Living Stations
in the school's gym on Wed. Apr. 16 at 2:00. The community is invited to attend.
