The Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, December 9, this year, due to the usual date, December 8, falling on a Sunday. The obligation to attend Mass has also been transferred, meaning that Monday the 9th is a Holy Day of Obligation and that the faithful must attend Mass that day. 
    There will be a Vigil Mass at 4:30 p.m. on December 8 at St. Charles Church, Cassville and 6:00 p.m. Masses on December 9 at St. Mary's Church, Bloomington, St. Andrew Church, Tennyson and St. Clement Church, Lancaster.
