Welcome to St. Clement Church
Mission Statement We, the people of St. Clement Parish, strive to live our lives following the teaching of Christ and the Catholic Church. Through worship, education and service, we seek to grow in faith, hope and love. By using our talents, we try to be more loving and compassionate by providing support for all those in need in our community and beyond. First Holy Communion on May 4, 2025.
Fr. Herbert is celebrating his 50th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood of Jesus Christ this coming Saturday, May 17. What a marvelous milestone for such a wonderful priest who has celebrated
Mass at St. Clement on so many occasions. We thank and congratulate him, and wish him much joy and many blessings. "Well done my good and faithful servant!" Cards and well-wishes can be
sent to: 669 S. Washington St., Apt. C2, Lancaster, WI 53813.
Our week to host families with children who are experiencing homelessness begins next Sunday, May 18. Presently there are two families in the program. The volunteer sign-up sheets are in the back of the
church. Next weekend, after the Masses, I’ll also be in the back of the church with a list of needed breakfast and beverage items. If you are able to help in that way, fantastic! If you have questions, contact me (Bill) at 723-4990, or Peg Jonas, 723-2051.

A Support Group for the Bereaved
When a loved one dies, it can feel like you are alone. Few people understand the thoughts, feelings and the pain you are experiencing. This can lead to isolation, feelings of depression and extreme sadness
and sorrow. All of these are normal. Yet, there is support through GriefShare.
GriefShare is a 13 session support group for those who have experienced the loss of a
loved one. A GriefShare session includes an informative video, discussion and sharing. It
is said that “grief shared is grief diminished.” Our next GriefShare support group will begin
on February 20, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. We will meet in the St. Clement Parish office
meeting room. Pre-registration is encouraged by going to: griefshare.org.
There you can also find other GriefShare groups in the area (Platteville has one) if our
time/dates do not work for you. Contact Bill Manthe (723-4990) or Marcia Hampton (732-
8849) for more information or if you have questions.
